
Alexander Wolf’s career began where most marketing stories don’t: finance. Working inside growth-stage companies taught him that a healthy business is a mosaic sales, operations, brand, data all snapped together around one clear objective.
In 2019 he founded New Rey Media, a full-service marketing agency that helped clients from mining to craft breweries uncover those growth levers through smart content and strategy. The agency’s podcast became his favorite lab: In 2021 Alex hosted a podcast round-table with six real-estate agents some brand-new, others seasoned pros to unpack their first six months on the job. Every participant described the early weeks as confusing and reactive. The ones who eventually broke through all credited a single turning point: putting repeatable systems in place.
Late 2022 brought a chance to create social-media content for a handful of agents. Inside their CRMs and balance sheets, Alexander saw the same pattern he’d witnessed in other industries: growth capped by scattered processes. So he asked the question that still drives us today: “If this were my brokerage, how would I build it for scale?”
Two years and dozens of sprint iterations later, that answer became a standalone company. Homestead Den now partners with a select group of agents who want to step out of hustle mode and lead a real business.
